Race Description

Sabino Canyon is undeniably perfect and the quintessential Tucson running location. The SAR Sabino Canyon Sunset Run has one goal: to create a race worthy of the Canyon. The race, designed to capitalize on the majestic nature of Sabino provides a unique opportunity to experience the challenges of a great race in a paradoxically tranquil environment. This unique 6.4 mile event winds its way into (and out of) Sabino Canyon.

This year’s event marks a turning point for the race: due to huge demand, capacity has increased to 400 and the race is part of the 2008 SAR Desert Grand Prix race series. We look forward to seeing you on March 8th.
