Track Workouts

Description Effort sessions take place twice a week on a well-lit, half-mile dirt track and the surrounding venues. Attendance is often between 25 and 50 women and men of all ages and abilities. Reid Park provides a safe running venue for everyone.

Workouts Workouts are tailored for three general groups of runners: novices, road racers, and marathoners. You can choose the workout that fits your goals and abilities. Tuesday night sessions include between 3-5 miles of effort running, and Thursdays generally include form drills and focus on shorter, faster workouts. Each day's workout will include between 3 and 8 miles of running. Less-structured social runs and other social events often take place throughout the week and on weekends.
