See what your running friends look like with clothes on and laugh along with special guest David Fitzsimmons from the Arizona Daily Star as as he takes on the running community in Tucson. “Fitz” is a nationally recognized political cartoonist and satirist, well known for a sharp sense of humor and a way with words. Rumor has it that he’s also pretty savvy about the local running scene, so who knows what barbs may be thrown . . .
This is your dinner, so come down to celebrate yourself, your friends, and people you don’t yet know. Festivities include photos, toasts, roasts, awards to volunteers, awards to the Running Shop Grand Prix winners, and recognition of others instrumental in helping make Tucson one of the best running cities in the country. Our goal is to have fun, talk, laugh, share stories, and celebrate the awesome sport of running. Although it’s a Southern Arizona Roadrunners event, if you’re not one of the 1300 SAR members, don’t worry—we like to hang out with anyone who likes running, so come on down and have some root beer . . .
