Early registration discounts for the Tucson 5000 end on May 10

We are only a week away from the fastest 5K in Southern Arizona and early registration forms need to be mailed by tomorrow, May 10! This year’s race is the RRCA State Championship, in addition to being part of The Running Shop Grand Prix, produced by SAR. We are also offering cash awards of $100 for course records in the men’s and women’s open and master’s categories, as well as special prizes for the best age-graded performance by a male and female. Top overall and masters runners will receive awards from our main sponsor The Running Shop and we will also have 3-deep awards in 5-year age groups. New this year is a Kid’s Dash, sponsored by Craig Dabler, Jeweler’s, so bring the family!. We would also like to thank Judy Lewis of Merrill Lynch for her generous support and Boston’s The Goumet Pizza, Plexus Pilates and Matsuno Martial Arts for donating some great raffle prizes. Culligan-Oasis Water and Eegees are continuing with their support and we thank them, also.

It’s a 7am start at Reid Park, Ramada 14 (first parking lot north of 22nd Street, on Country Club).
